Third subsidiary for Cavagna Group on the African continent: Cavagna Group East Africa introduced

Apr 24, 2025

Ponte San Marco, Brescia (Italy) – April 24, 2025 – Cavagna Group strengthens its presence on the African continent by opening a new subsidiary in Kenya, the third in just over four years.

At the end of 2021, Cavagna Group South Africa was opened in Johannesburg, followed in September 2023 by the Group’s representative in West Arica, in Abidjan, the Ivory Coast’s economic capital.

Cavagna Group East Africa will be a point of reference in the western region. The strategic location is due to a variety of factors such as geographical, social and economic.

Kenya is among the most dynamic regions on the continent thanks to a remarkable economic and industrial growth that has allowed, and supported, greater urbanisation and the creation of innovative infrastructures. It also represents a core market in the consumption of LPG gas, which is becoming increasingly popular as a clean and safe energy source in comparison to wood and coal widely used in households. The country is also proving proactive in the use of natural gas and new renewable energies, both areas in which the Group has been active for some time.

‘Cavagna Group East Africa will be a direct point of contact with the market in order to provide concrete sales support for all business lines for which we are seeing good results across the board,’ explains Rino Cavagna, Executive Vice President of Sales at Cavagna Group. For some time now, our company has recognised the potential of this continent and, even in more recent times, the forecasts have not been contradicted. It remains a key player in global energy development’.

This operation was supported by the results achieved by the previous companies in Johannesburg (CGSA) and Abidjan (CGWA), which demonstrated how being operational at a capillary level is strategic.

Cavagna Group East Africa represents the Group’s intention to strengthen its ties with the continent in whose potential it strongly believes.
