Breaston, Derbyshire | UK | Medical Sales Representative

Location: UK and Ireland (Remote with office in Breaston, Derbyshire)

Role: The role involves nationwide technical-scientific and promotional-commercial activities for medical devices for oxygen therapy and the treatment of sleep apnoea.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement sales plans.
  • Conduct market analysis and plan marketing strategies.
  • Organise marketing activities to enhance brand awareness.
  • Present products to specialists and provide technical advice.
  • Provide clinical information and support at scientific events.
  • Manage relationships with key opinion leaders and customers.
  • Monitor the market and competitors.
  • Assist in preparing technical and economic reports for tenders.
  • Promote and sell CPAP and BPAP machines to the private sector.
  • Develop relationships with NHS and private prescribers.
  • Attend exhibitions and conferences.
  • Provide product demonstrations and training.
  • Achieve sales targets.
  • Travel within the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
  • Collaborate with the head office in Italy.
  • Visit sleep assessment centres and hospitals.
  • Handle tenders for the NHS and large organisations.

Qualifications: Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science.
  • Experience in the medical devices market, specifically in technical-sales promotion.
  • Knowledge of multi-channel dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide.
  • Strong brand awareness and promotion experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven experience in medical sales, particularly in respiratory products.
  • Strong network within the NHS and private healthcare sector.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Fluent in English.

Nice to have:

  • Five years of sales experience in the respiratory channel for medical devices.
