Cavagna Group S.p.A. | The Cavagna Group UK

Cavagna Group UK’s location is itself emblematic of the company’s strength: strategically located in the center of the UK (in Breaston, Derbyshire), it enjoys easy access to all its clients thanks to excellent motorway connections.

The Cavagna Group’s business in Great Britain is constantly growing, which proves that the market likes its product range and customer service. And indeed, Cavagna Group UK is a real distribution hub in the gas sector, with a wide range of products available and an actively engaged team that is always looking to strengthen partnerships with customers. Cavagna Group UK’s location is itself emblematic of the company’s strength: strategically located in the center of the UK (in Breaston, Derbyshire), it enjoys easy access to all its clients thanks to excellent motorway connections. But while it certainly excels in terms of functionality and practicality, it is also conscious of its image as a company. To that end, Cavagna Group UK’s technical and sales teams are committed to providing the highest level of service and technical support to every customer. Starting from CGUK’s headquarters, Cavagna products are distributed through a network of highly trained distributors with extensive, longterm experience. What’s more, the entire network can rely on the support of a wide range of Cavagna equipment.

A good knowledge of the gas market combined with strategic choices suited to the economic scenario have led to the growth of Cavagna Group UK, making it a real “hub” in the field of gas regulation and control technologies.

The UK office is headed by Managing Director Rob Arnot, who joined CGUK two years ago from Olympus. The office team is led by Jason Hardy and consists of administrators Maxine Wheeldon-Jones, Maria Coward and Nigel Barnicote. The team in charge of accounts, bills and receipts is formed by Sarah Paton and Charlotte Hallsworth. Ian Kaye is the lead technician and the warehouse team is headed by Allan Rudd. Nationwide sales team Kelly Curtis and George Bell complete the CGUK staff and ensure that all areas of the UK and Ireland are serviced. Thanks to this established team, CGUK is able to build strong and loyal relationships with its customers, which is crucial in a very challenging market like the UK. As far as LPG is concerned, CGUK has a number of exciting projects in the pipeline as it prepares to face the significant challenges that await in the UK’s compressed gas market in 2018. To that end, the CGUK team will have to focus more on adapting to customer expectations and tailoring the solution that is right for them, working closely with Cavagna headquarters in Italy. Although
the UK market traditionally shows a good deal of resistance to change, an evolution is beginning to take hold in the gas industry, which is becoming more and more innovative.
Lastly, CGUK is still supporting and developing Greengear-branded products alongside Calor Gas, who is the exclusive distributor in UK and Ireland. Calor is actively promoting the Greengear initiative within its existing sectors and markets. In that regard, growing interest has been seen in the catering industry, including a positive dialogue with “street food” operators. Meanwhile, the marketing for Greengear power generators and water pumps has enjoyed strong engagement in British and Irish markets, proving that LPG is increasingly appreciated as an alternative fuel.

Thanks to this established team, CGUK is able to build strong and loyal relationships with its customers, which is crucial in a very challenging market like the UK.
