Ponte San Marco, 24 march 2020 – 6:00 p.m. – In response to the Coronavirus – COVID-19 pandemic, alongside the implementation of previously issued decrees, Cavagna Group is now compliant with Prime Ministerial Decree of 22 March 2020.
We are also implementing all the measures that will allow us, if necessary, to make use of further procedures made available by the Italian Government in accordance with art. 14 of the D.L. n. 18 dated March 17th, 2020. Such measures ensure the production continuity and stability for the companies belonging to the healthcare supply system, like our company and our suppliers.
With regards to the functional activity to ensure the continuity of the storage and distribution chain (wholesale and retail) of LPG and Natural Gas, PURSUANT TO LETTER d) of the CITED DPCM, the companies of the Cavagna Group that fall into those categories are fully operational and can continue the business as part of both essential and functional services.
Cavagna Group has taken all measures to ensure effective operation and to serve and support its customers while ensuring the safety of its employees.
Faced with this emergency situation, the Cavagna Group wishes to show its commitment to concentrate its production capacity to its maximum, in order to respond to the growing requests and meet the extraordinary demand of hospital, health and home complexes and to guarantee the supply of these devices as a priority.

In risposta alla pandemia di Coronavirus – Covid-19, Cavagna Group, congiuntamente all’implementazione dei decreti già in essere, si è conformata alle disposizioni dell’ultimo decreto 22 marzo 2020, al fine di proteggere la salute e la sicurezza dei propri collaboratori e per ridurre il rischio di contagio da COVID-19.
Stiamo anche già implementando le misure che ci permetteranno, se necessario, di utilizzare ulteriori strumenti messi a disposizione dal Governo per le imprese appartenenti alla filiera della salute (in cui rientriamo sia noi, sia i nostri fornitori) grazie all’art. 14 del D. L. n. 18 del 17 marzo 2020, in modo da continuare a garantire la stabilità e continuità della produzione.
Ai sensi della lettera d) del Decreto del Presidente del Consiglio del 22 marzo 2020, inoltre i prodotti legati alla filiera dello stoccaggio e della distribuzione (all’ingrosso e al dettaglio) di GPL e Gas Naturale, settori di cui all’allegato 1 del decreto, sono considerati servizi di pubblica utilità e servizi essenziali (legge n.146/1990) poiché funzionali ad assicurare la continuità della filiera stessa e, quindi, le nostre Aziende ad essa correlate sono tutte operative.
Abbiamo messo in atto tutte le misure necessarie per assicurare l’effettiva operatività dei nostri siti produttivi e un supporto costante ai nostri clienti garantendo al contempo la sicurezza dei nostri lavoratori, nostra massima priorità.
Di fronte all’eccezionalità di questa situazione, il Gruppo Cavagna intende garantire il massimo impegno nel concentrare la propria capacità produttiva, al fine di accogliere la crescente domanda da parte di complessi sanitari, ospedalieri e domestici ed imponendosi come prioritaria la fornitura di questi dispositivi.

We are carrying out all of the provisions issued by the Prime Minister’s Office; we are following ISS Public Health Italy and the WHO guidelines, which means that our facilities are currently open for business as usual. However, in line with those guidelines, Cavagna Group has taken all measures to ensure effective operation and to serve and support its customers while ensuring the safety of our employees.
In addition, we wish to highlight that as, Cavagna Group Spa is registered as a manufacturer of medical devices. In accordance with the provisions of the Legislative Decree dated March 9th 2020 the health supply chain – and therefore also relevant to our sector – is defined as an “Essential service” thus not subject to blockages.
